ROBERT PATTINSON “DISTURBING” SEX SCENES INTERVIEW IS COMPLETE “FABRICATION”
Any comments attributed to Robert Pattinson are going to get huge attention, especially with regards to the highly anticipated Bel Ami he’s making with Uma Thurman, and especially if outlets can throw in the word “sex.”
“The sex scenes with Uma are kind of disturbing,” Pattinson is quoted as saying to The Daily Record. The comments were quickly (and not surprisingly) picked up everywhere. “[Thurman's character] kind of uses sex as a sort of weapon and my character thinks like an animal,” Pattinson supposedly adds.
Bel Ami is an adaptation of French writer Guy de Maupassant’s novel, in which Georges Duroy (Pattinson) is a social climbing journalist and playboy. As Gossip Cop confirmed last month, Christina Ricci has also signed on to the project.
Gossip Cop was told by a source close to Pattinson that the Daily Record interview is a “fabrication.”
The source adds, Pattinson “never spoke to the [Scottish] Daily Record.”

LONDON CALLING? ROBERT PATTINSON AND KRISTEN STEWART WRONG HOUSE RUMORS RETURN
Caution: The following report spread by Showbiz Spy goes very wrong, very quickly.
“Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are looking for a house in London!”
Yep, that’s the first line. We warned you!
“They’ve obviously changed their minds about the Isle of Wight then!”
That’s the second line from Showbiz Spy. Pattinson and Stewart “changed their minds” about what, exactly? The time the media floated news about them moving to an island where they vacationed, a completely empty rumor Gossip Cop busted twice? Pattinson and Stewart changed their minds about nothing. When it became apparent Isle of Wight talk was Wrong, outlets changed their minds.
But the third line is most telling: “Anyway!”
As in, “Anyway, who cares about facts?”
This way the site can quickly move on to the next Robsten rumor having set the following precedent: Anything published that winds up not happening can just be attributed to minds changing.
The latest story claims the “Twilight” stars are “looking to set up home in the British capital” to enable their families to become better acquainted.
Not true. None of the sources who spoke with Gossip Cop believed there was a single fact backing up the rumor of Robsten shacking up in London.
And since it’s an awfully thin story, it’s then padded with loose talk that Stewart and Pattinson have been “told to put their careers ahead of their red-hot romance.” “Everyone, from their management to the studios involved in their upcoming movies, is worried [Rob and Kristen] will start to become… distracted,” according to an E! Online item that raised eyebrows. The couple is still together, the narrative goes, but “got a slap on the wrist.”
Gossip Cop has talked with people connected to the Stewart and Pattinson industry hierarchy, and it simply isn’t true that the studio or anyone else has a say in their personal lives.
To repeat a point we’ve made often: Let’s leave status reports on Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson to Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, and without some of the disturbing strategies employed before.

INSIDE DETAILS ON THE ROBERT PATTINSON “DETAILS” COVER
Message boards and Twitter have been all atwitter about Robert Pattinson’s cover shoot for the March issue of Details magazine.
People are claiming the issue features a partially clothed Pattinson photographed getting “a lap dance,” being “straddled” by a woman,” and even standing while a woman on her knees simulates oral sex on him.
Gossip Cop has the REAL details about what’s really in Details.
First off, Pattinson is FULLY clothed in all of the dozen or so photographs. He’s not even shirtless in any of the pictures.
And there are no straddling shots. No lap dance shots. No simulated oral sex shots. None of it.
While it’s true the models are nude in some pictures, remember that it’s Details magazine, so readers won’t be exposed to their details either.
Insiders tell Gossip Cop the photos are “super sexy,” yet “tasteful.” We also hear the pictures have an “Old Hollywood” feel to them. One source described the photos as embodying “1920s, 1930s Hollywood glamor.”
The Pattinson cover technically hits newsstands on February 23, but Gossip Cop is told some copies will be available a few days earlier.
Robert Pattinson's Remember Me Quickie
As we all know by now, Robert Pattinson will be on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon March 1 and The View March 2 to promote his new, nonvampire flick Remember Me.
But how much more press he'll be doing around the time of the film's release is probably going to be limited to not much else...
While he'll be in New York City the last week of February for the press junket and is expected to attend the big premiere on March 1, he has to get back to Europe sooner rather than later to continue filming Bel Ami.
When asked if there is a chance Pattinson would be hosting Saturday Night Live, like Taylor has done already, our insider said, "I can't imagine he could. Maybe he can make a cameo, but to host you need about a week to rehearse."
Pattinson's Remember Me costar Emilie de Ravin will pop up on The View with him, but she'll probably do a publicity push in Toronto without him.
As we first told you, Pattinson and de Ravin shot a fashion spread at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art for an upcoming issue of Vogue.
Although we're hopeful Rob will be able to squeeze in some more television appearances for Remember Me, don't fret too much. We hear Summit is planning another gangbusters promotional tour for the June release of Eclipse.
'Bel Ami' casting information
After a much needed break following completion of filming the Twilight Saga: Eclipse, Robert Pattinson is back at work, getting ready to start filming Bel Ami.
Information about the film was kept quiet during most of 2009, however, with the start of 2010, and as production neared closer, more and more details became available.
Collider.com recently posted casting information about the much anticipated project. Pattinson is taking on the leading role in the movie, playing Georges Duroy. According to Collider's synopsis, Duroy capitalizes on his seductive abilities to make his way through Paris, bedding the city's wealthy women, and rising to power as a result.
Of course Pattinson isn't the only major star in the film. The following stars also have roles in Bel Ami:

Holly Grainger - Suzanne
Uma Thurman - Madeleine
Kristin Scott Thomas - Virginie
Colm Meaney - Rousset
Philip Glenister - Charles
In addition to this exciting cast, Simon Fuller, the brains behind American Idol, is signed on as an executive producer for the film. Fuller is also rumored to be one of the financial backers for Bel Ami.
Filming for Bel Ami begins February 7. The film will be shot in London and Budapest.

Robert Pattinson’s first appearances as part of the Remember Me promotional tour
Firstly, Rob will appear on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on March 1, the same evening as the film’s premiere. Secondly, Rob and co-star Emilie de Ravin will visit The View on March 2. We will make sure to post the videos as soon as they are made available.

Our favorite vampire, Robert Pattinson, just racked up two Razzie Award nominations!
One for worst supporting actor in New Moon and another for worst on screen couple opposite Kristen Stewart in the same movie.
