Robert Pattinson Sells for a Record-Breaking $80,000

One lucky fan spent a whopping $80,000 Wednesday to meet Robert Pattinson on the set of 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.'

The winner will travel to Vancouver where they'll be hosted at the Four Seasons along with three companions. Then, they'll travel by limo to the 'Breaking Dawn' set, where they'll have a meet and greet with Rob, who portrays hunky vampire Edward Cullen in the hit series.

The prize was offered on www.CharityBuzz.com to raise funds for the GO Campaign, a nonprofit group that supports grassroots projects for orphans and vulnerable children globally. The $80,000 bid is the highest bid ever for the GO Campaign.

If you’ve been following the news related to the production of the upcoming finale to the Twilight saga, you know it’s been steamy. We were recently treated to a nice smattering of photos featuring Edward and Bella prancing around during the infamous ‘Honeymoon scene.’

Fans were also intrigued by the news that the producers are going to turn up the juice for the films, abandoning the somewhat modest approach that the books take. Most fans have thumbed through the thousands of pages that make up the epic love story—only to be disappointed by the lack of any real details when it comes to ‘landing the deal.’

All of that is about to change with the release of the next film—Life & Style magazine recently reported that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart’s love scene in Breaking Dawn took nearly 12 hours to shoot. I’m wondering if they just kept messing up so that they could spend more time snogging. Who knows?

Even more interesting is that R-Patz recently admitted that he gets way too carried away while filming love scenes with Kristen. He said in a recent interview that he somehow forgets that there is an entire crew standing by watching, and just gets into it with her. No wonder their love seems so natural on the screen.

First Look! Robert Pattinson And Reese Witherspoon In ‘Water For Elephants!’

Rob and Reese make quite the attractive couple in this first still released from their upcoming movie Water for Elephants!

When you’re as good-looking as Robert Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon, it’s not hard to convince viewers you’d make an equally smoldering couple. Case in point, this new still from Water for Elephants that was just released for the world to see!

We knew that Rob and Reese would look good together onscreen when they were both cast in Water for Elephants, and this shot of them holding each other and gazing adoringly into each other’s eyes just gets us that much more excited to see them up on the big screen! The still, from German magazine Bravo, is the first promotional photo of Reese and Rob from the film. And we shall call them “Pattinspoon.”

Rob, 24, plays Jacob Jankowski, a veterinary student tossed into the world of the traveling circus. It’s there he meets Marlena, played by Reese, 34, the horseback riding-star of the show. The film is set for release on April 15, 2011.
