Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart? Pass me the stake!

Well, I'm thinking that Kristen is how the article described her...Let me know what do you think?

This week, after causing months of speculation by constantly denying it, Robert Pattinson confirmed that he is dating Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart. Big whoop.
I’m in that middle ground – too old to want to watch the films/too young (just!) to have kids to force me to – so I’ve never seen any of them.
But I hope that when Robert and Kristen are good on screen, they’re very, VERY good because in real life they’re so bad, they’re horrid.
Kristen, who you may have seen this week looking miserable winning a Bafta or sulking at the Elle Style Awards, hasn’t just slagged off Twilight fans herself, she also gets members of her family to do it for her.
Talking about excited teenagers turning up when she was promoting the first film’s pre-release she said: “I just didn’t pay attention. I was like, ‘You guys are celebrating something that has not come true yet. So, you are really retarded and have nothing to do
with this creative process and I really don’t want to hear you celebrate in front of me. Get out of here!’”
Then Kristen’s dad explained her absence from last year’s Oscars by saying: “She will only attend when it’s a great movie, not just one that makes a lot of money.” RPattz is just as bad. Every time you hear him speak he’s moaning about how hard the privileged life of a celebrity is. “I haven’t found one place in the world yet where I could disappear,” he whines, “Even the most remote places I can imagine, someone will ask me for a picture with them or an autograph."
The cheek of it! Disgusting “real people”, who have bought the tickets for your movies and made you a
rich, successful star in the first place, daring to ask you to go to the intense inconvenience and massive trouble of posing for a photograph or – horror of horrors – writing down your name?
Outrageous.
The simple fact is that Robert and Kristen are the luckiest actors in the world. Thanks to the popularity of the books and movies of the franchise they signed up to, rather than any outstanding talent, they’ve been catapulted on to the A-list.
They get paid much, much more than people who save lives to do what they love – acting. There are a zillion other wannabes who would kill to play those roles, and who would probably also have the common sense to at least APPEAR grateful in public.
Why did Robert and Kristen go to Hollywood and make movies if they didn’t want to be famous? What did they think would happen? Or has someone been holding guns to their heads this whole time, just out of shot?
I know that they’re playing vampires, but that doesn’t mean they can get away with biting the hands that feed them... And I don’t think they will.
Robert, Kristen, I look forward to finding out your Bushtucker Trial phone numbers. And using them. Lots.

actually, she takes half of these quotes out of context for both robert and kristen. kristen shouldn't use the word retard, but put into context with the interview, she had been complaining about prdocuers interferring with the creative process, then was misquoted by some gossip blogs with that quote. Robert was not complaining about being noticed, he was simply explaining that even in the most remote places people knew who he was. this woman sounds like sour grapes who took quotes out of context to make her case.

I actually thought that she was on the ball and very accurate. The quotes were made over the past but the attitude and focus of both of these actors does not warrant them to be on any A-List.

They are paid crazy amounts of money and Robert has scripts dropping into his lap, as he mentioned himself he doesn't even have to read for the parts anymore..

Twilight and the series is Fan Based and has a 'Cult' following because of the books and marketing material. The acting in both of these movies is sub standard and doesn't warrant any award apart from "Kids Choice Award'

Sorry Girls but sometimes we can be blinded by our crushes and when the blindfold lifts thinks often become clear, that reporter has no need for sour grapes but I felt the questions she was asking were relevant...

"who the hell are these people"

I totally agreed with the second comment. Anyway thank you both for your view.

Talk about past comments coming back to bite them on the bum! I can understand Rob expressing his wish to have a little bit of privacy once in a while; let's face it - he was pretty much a recluse during the filming of Eclipse, or very cleverly evaded the papz.

I agree 2nd Anon in that the cult following of Twilight virtually guaranteed popularity awards...although Rob had to rise above the negative casting comments in the first instance.
