Robert Pattinson's new film 'difficult to market'

Robert Pattinson's film 'Bel Ami' is still in editing because its bosses are worried about the heartthrob being unmarketable because of his character's womanising antics.
Film bosses are worried Robert Pattinson will be unmarketable in 'Bel Ami'.
The movie - in which the 'Twilight Saga' heartthrob plays a corrupt journalist who manipulates his rich lover to become one of the most powerful men in France - finished shooting a year ago but is still being edited to try and make the actor look more favourable.
Filmed in the UK and Budapest last spring, the movie was intended for release already, but no new date has been confirmed.
Robert explained to Total Film: "We were really true to the book and because the guy is basically a s**t who wins everything at the end it's really difficult to market it - especially with me in it.
"Everyone's worried that everyone's going to be thinking, 'Oh I want him to be nice, he's got to be nice to all the ladies'."
The actor will star alongside Uma Thurman, Christina Ricci and Kristen Scott Thomas in the film, which is produced by media mogul Simon Fuller who created 'American Idol' and was the brains behind the Spice Girls.

Oh they'd better not change the movie - Rob is marketable no matter whether he's portrayed as a mean, sexy cad or a lovable vampire!
