ROBERT PATTINSON TURNS DOWN £1M BURBERRY MODELLING DEAL

Multitalented Twilight starRobert Pattinson has already turned his hand to music, but it seems he hasn’t made modelling next on his list, after turning down a million pound deal to become the new face of Burberry.

The British fashion house areno stranger to having a famous faces fronting their ad campaigns, with Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Emma Watson and Agyness Deyn among the stars to grace their posters.
But this time they’ve been left disappointed, after setting their sights on Robert Pattinson.
The Twi-star turned down a lucrative contract when they came calling, according to reports, telling bosses he ‘doesn’t want to start becoming a brand’.
‘Christopher and the Burberry team were desperate to sign Robert as the main person in their new campaign,’ one insider told the Mirror.
'It would grace all their stores worldwide and be in all the best publications. They went to Robert but he immediately, politely, turned them down.’

And it seems the star declined the offer to focus on his acting… so no music career in the works just yet, then.
‘As far as Robert sees things he’s an actor by trade and that’s his art. He doesn’t want to start becoming a brand or anything,’ the insider added.
It’s thought Burberry were left more than a little disappointed, and are now having to rethink their whole campaign.
Burberry really hoped Robert would do it. They know he wears Burberry occasionally and he’s met Christopher and the team before,’ the source said.
‘They only wanted him. Robert’s look would have been perfect so they’re back to square one.’
