Twilight star Robert Pattinson insists there are no hidden religious messages in the films.
Rob has dismissed the idea that author Stephenie Meyer hides Mormon philosophy within the Twilight books, in an attempt to convert readers to the religion.
For example, some believe Breaking Dawn contains pro-life messages – Bella, played by Kristen Stewart, decides to keep a baby even though the pregnancy threatens her life.
However Robert disagrees, telling EW.com: ‘I think people make up all these Mormon references just so they can publish Twilight articles in respectable publications like the New York Times. Even Stephenie said it doesn’t mean any of that. It is based on a dream.’

Well I thought the author's dream was just the meadow scene and she made up the rest - however to me it appears to be strong moral values rather than religious overtones.
