’New Moon’s’ Robert Pattinson and co-star Taylor Lautner hate each other and their on-going rivalry is threatening to throw the future of the Twilight franchise into freefall.
So claims Famous magazine.
An insider told the gossip rag: “Rob and Taylor have a working relationship but that’s where it ends. They can just about stand to be in the same vicinity for the fans at public appearances, but once the cameras are gone the bitching begins – and it’s getting a whole lot worse.”
The mole went on: “They’re competitive about everything from girls to their physiques. And when Rob started teasing Taylor about his strict exercise regimen, Taylor began ripping Rob to shreds over the fact that he had to resort to spray-on abs because he was so out of shape.”

The secret squirrel continued: “They just don’t see eye to eye. At one stage Rob was refusing to come out of his trailer to do a scene with Taylor, and they had to be physically separated [after an argument]…
“There’s a reason Kristen is always between them in photos… They can’t stand to be around each other and despise having to pretend.”
How refreshing to hear a tale of bitchy blokes for a change – whether you take the reports with a HUGE pinch of salt or not…

I find this hard to believe because Rob is always so gracious about Taylor and is at pains to say how he has a more supporting role in NM.
