The only true and verified statements about Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart is that they co-star in a popular movie series, Twilight, and they are friends.  The real question is: why is the internet full of these rumors about Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson dating, etc?  Are the rumors generated by wishful thinking fans that want to see the Stewart / Pattinson on screen relationship become a real love story?
